Julia Chon's Memory Garden features a selection from her ongoing series of hand-painted onggi—traditional Korean earthenware vessels. Julia is working toward creating 54 of these vessels reflecting her family’s 54 years in the U.S. since immigrating in 1970. Each vessel holds forgotten stories, personal histories, and emotions tied to the immigrant journey. This exhibition is presented in Plain Sight where the exhibition is on view through June 20, 2025
